From an early age, Karina grew up in a positive and nurturing environment; her father was an entrepreneur who followed the teachings of Dale Carnegie and Napoleon Hill, among others, and both parents instilled in their six daughters the ability and the desire to achieve any dream they could imagine. Karina graduated in 2000 from Columbia University in New York, and for fifteen years has led a professional life of public service, having worked with elected officials in federal, state, and local settings.  Most recently, Karina was a public relations professional for a local county government.

But her true calling has been in helping others achieve and live a positive life.  Karina is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas – Pan American, and is expected to complete her studies this year.  Karina lives in McAllen, Texas and has two children, Mia Corazon, 9, and Carlos Joel, 6, and is constantly nurturing and fostering their own positive life development with strategies and techniques employed in The Positive Program.

Through The Positive Program, Mike and Karina’s aim is to demonstrate to others that life is meant to be full of positive experiences, and to share techniques and strategies to help individuals achieve a positive outlook in their lives.
